I understand that I need to pay return shipping, but I can't see why I have to pay 3-4 times more than what I paid for to receive the same goods on an international transaction that did not meet the described product.

If you opened a case for not as described the seller needs to pay return shipping. They are supposed to send you the funds via PayPal. If your return is a remorse return then yes you pay the return shipping.

Thank you for that, I have not heard back from seller in Europe, Ebay however states it's a approved return and I need to select the shipping company and pay for what cost $45 from Europe now $98 from USA back to seller. That sounds very confusing to me.
