After purchase was made and before item shipped, buyer contacted me about returns. My policy, clearly stated in item description, is that I accept returns but buyer pays shipping. Buyer asked if I paid for return shipping. I contacted him and told him that I do accept returns but buyer pays for shipping. Today I get the request for return, which I approved but buyer sends message that he expects a pre-paid label. He states that the garment doesn't fit and that the measurements I have stated in the description are not quite right.
Please advise. I don't want a ding on my record but I also don't want to be bullied by a buyer who set me up for this from the beginning. Thanks

Your buyer can ask but no compulsion on you to accommodate this request.
Return is already approved and burden is on your buyer to return the item to you.
In my view there is no need to respond to message you received today as this has already been addressed and if item was not as described then your buyer should have sent you photographic evidence and open INAD case and not as Does not fit.
In fact your buyer is in violation of eBay's policies as he is asking you to provide goods are services that are not offered on your listing. Select this reason when you report this buyer as abusive on eBay as this will help you if your buyer leaves negative feedback.

If they file a not as described case, you are responsible to provide a return label. If you dont, Ebay will refund the buyer, and she will keep the item too. If she just filed 'doesnt fit", thats a remorse return, and she pays return shipping.
