return - problem with the tracking status

Hi, I've bought laptop from USA by eBay GSP, item was defective so i returned it to seller. Package arrived to seller two days ago but ebay tracking status has not changed. I know the package arrived from fedex site. So why ebay is still showing the package is in transit?

There are delays between eBay and USPS. The seller has 6 business days to issue your refund once they get the item back so either way you still have to wait another 4 business days.

But the status on ebay says only - 

Shipment information sent to FedEx
