Did you mean:

over size limit USPS Priority Canada

I listed an item with "No International Bidders", this was do to the size and not wanting to go over the limit of 79 inches in combined length plus girth.

Of course someone in Canada was still able to win the auction.

It is an expensive guitar amplifier and I do not want to skimp on the padding.

My total length plus girth is 106"

When going to print a label threw ebay, it is not giving me any warnings about being over,

will this package ship ok, or am I asking for trouble if I print that label?

Re: over size limit USPS Priority Canada

According to the IMM, the maximum L+G for Priority Mail for Canada is 108. inches, so you should be OK:

This was for the Fender amplifier?  An international buyer was able to win the auction because that listing states worldwide shipping and there is shipping set up for every country. I'm not sure why you thought it was listed with no international bidders.

I use sixbit software....maybe something went wrong with that....its a little late now....but I will take a look. Maybe that was my goof.

Re: over size limit USPS Priority Canada

I noticed that on the listings were you did specify shipping just to the US that you don't have international buyers blocked.  That means that if someone in another country wanted to bid they would be allowed to bid even though the listing shows just US shipping. They wouldn't be able to pay because there was no shipping cost specified to their country but it would be still be a pain to cancel the sale and relist.  To prevent that from happening, go to site preferences - buyer requirements and check off: 'block buyers with a primary shipping address in a country that I don't ship to.'  At the bottom of that page click on apply to active and future listings.

Re: over size limit USPS Priority Canada

Thank you very much for the help.

Most of my items I do want to offer international shipping. The only time I do not is when the size will be a problem, or its something prohibited, like a gun part, or vintage knife.
