only one shipping option showing up

I have had this problem for a while now and I think I need to ask about it

sometimes I want to offer two shipping options

one example is

priority mail and fedex ground

or

priority mail and media rate

but I always now seem to get only one showing up in the auction

for example priority mail and local pickup are buyer choices but not fedex ground even though both are showing in the auction creation and and even when I go to edit the auction. I am not clicking local pickup but it still shows up

Am I missing something ? or do others also have this issue ?

I have been selling on eBay since 1999 and I just noticed this several months ago.

eBay does this deliberately. They will always show which ever shipping option you listed first. Others are shown only if they meet eBay's selection criteria. For instance, a more expensive option will only be shown if it is also faster. Here's the official announcement about this ridiculous policy:

I don't like that policy as both a buyer and a seller

I want a choice of fast at high cost and slow at low cost to choose according to my needs !

It also can eliminate different carrier choices. I might be willing to pay a little more for shipping that's a comparable speed but a with a carrier that's more reliable in my area.
