Stack them all up, put them in a bag, and then you'll know how much room they''ll need; allow for an inch of padding all around. Probably a USPS Priority Mail "Box 07" would be good; it measures 12x12x8 inches.
A Medium flat rate box would almost certainly cost more than regular Priority Mali rates (based on weight and distance) for such a light item. The online current postage rate for a Medium FRB is higher than the cost to ship a 3-pound box to Zones 1 - 6 via regular Priority rates.
Or maybe I'm having trouble visualizing them, and they could even be shipped as a First Class package (i.e., total weight not over 15.99 ounces).

The OP may be concerned with smashing the corners, as well as the plastic bubbles around the players -- condition is a priority, and those Starting Line-up action figures are a BEAR!
I would personally be more likely to use packing peanuts rather than plastic padding around each item, to avoid any possible creases or folds.
