need help with GSP

Hi,

so I am enrolled in GSP , but I have a buyer from Russia, saying he can’t pay for my item that he sent an offer for, and i accepted, because he gets a message that I don’t  send to his area.
I checked my seller account and it only says Global shipping enrolled, where can O see if I haveRussia blocked for some reason?

and why could that be? I have never blocked any countries...

thanks for any advice.

I believe that Russia is not served by GSP.  I use GSP - checked the countries that are possible under my listing, and Russia is not on the list.

Your buyer is lying if he got a message saying you don't ship to his area. Russian Federation is clearly in your ship to list. If he can't pay its because his own finances are not accepted for some reason. Open unpaid item case on him. If he hasn't paid after that ends you get your FVF back and the item is relisted. Make sure you block him if he has not paid on the UPI case. GSP should have the postage and import taxes added on his invoice.

If Russia is not on GSP list then OP will need to handle the shipping on his own and send the buyer an invoice with shipping added.

I wouldn't waste my time.  I would cancel the transaction (problem with buyers address) and move on.

If the buyer wants to pursue the matter, have the buyer contact ebay for an explanation.

if a seller lists with both GSP AND offers to non-GSP locations, like Russia,  that might present some confusion n the check out process.  The vast majority of buyers that report an encounter technical issues are honest.  I’ve seen plenty of sellers confused by technical glitches - real or imaginary - let’s give a buyer the benefit of the doubt.  There is no harm in OP helping out that buyer.

okay, I proceeded to send an invoice, with shipping under Ebay international shipping standard.

The byer paid, but now I see the address with Russian characters... like these б, в, г, д, ж, з, к, л, м, н, п, р, с, т, ф , should I just print label like that, or do I need to translate ?

As long as it says RUSSIAN FEDERATION at the bottom I'd print the label as is because the Russian postman will read it better, I often got foreign address and just used the exact address as shown so no problems. I'm glad you got this order sorted for this buyer. Message him the tracking number when you have it. I would also tell him he needs to wait for the package 4-8 weeks as international post can be very slow with covid mail problems.

so I actually used the ebay international standard system (new system) and , apparently (I printed label and it came out like this) it's going first to an Ebay international center in LAX (los angeles Ca) , I guess from there they will send to Russia?

first time using this new shipping system
