Open an item not received claim at least one day after the last estimated delivery date.

Lift your left leg at midnight to start off on the right foot. Happy new Year!

If you made a purchase on eBay and it's missing, you DON'T have to deal with the insurance. That is the seller's problem.

Check and see what the last given delivery date is.  Once that has past, click the I did not receive it button in purchases on your my eBay page.

eBay will allow more time if it looks like the package will be delivered.   There can be delays.  Your still covered.  You can file the case on the 27th if needed.     It's a pain to keep waiting but you are protected. No need to worry.

If the tracking indicates lost or is beyond 1 day of the last delivery estimate date - open an item not received claim. Just because it is open, does not mean its bad for the seller. What it does is forces the seller to take action upon it & can become bad due to inaction. Should you open, do not close it until either item arrives & ur happy or you are refunded.

Insurance claims are for the seller whom owns the merchandise until delivery & satisfactory acceptance by you the buyer.
