'item was shipped' date question

I have one day handling on my orders. So, I sold some items on the 27th, with the intent to ship on the 28th. Printed out labels from ebay and changed shipping date to 28th, (even though it was still the 27th). I see now on my seller's page, the item was listed as 'shipped on the 27th'. But, it wasn't. Does this count as a ding on my items shipped promptly rating? I'm still within the handling time, but if the clock is already running from yesterday...

Re: 'item was shipped' date question

You won't get a ding, since you shipped within 1-day handling. The clock on handling time looks at (1) when the buyer paid and (2) when the package gets its first scan.

eBay records an item as shipped on the date that the label was purchased, regardless of whether the seller chose a different actual shipping date when they set up the label. An accurate purchase date (e.g., 27th vs 28th) isn't important.
