If it sold, you cannot downgrade the shipping. If it has not sold, edit the listing.

You can not change the terms of the sale after the fact and that includes shipping rate. But there are usually a few different shipping rates you can choose when printing the label. But if the item does not qualify to ship media mail that option may not show up. You also have the option to ship directly at the post office. Either way tell the customer your mistake and be transparent.

Media rate will only be shown as an option in a few sections where items are sold that can be shipped media rate, such as books. As said, once sold you need to ship at the rate/service payed for. Upgrade on your dime might be ok, but never a downgrade.
