is Fedex or UPS automatically notified once I create a label and all I have to do is initiate the PU

I have not used either one in a very long time, and when I did,  I just dropped off the shipping paid package to the correct pick up point.

Before I ship and commit to either carrier, just asking if  YOU KNOW if I can create a pick up right from the ebay label payment menu? 

Not sure how the PO treats a second and third add on to a one package pickup at my house, which is an RFD route.

I believe the eBay label purchase confirmation page has a link to the USPS website where you can schedule a pickup. I don't recall if it has a link to UPS/FedEx for scheduling a pickup. UPS/FedEx charge for pickups and you cannot schedule them directly through eBay.

USPS does not charge for pickups as long as it's on your regular delivery. I don't know if RFD affects that, but you can find out by going to USPS.com to schedule a pickup.

On Ebay, you just buy the label.

If you want the carrier to come pick it up, you need to schedule a pickup on their web site..
