New (horrible) listing tool
want to offer international shipping
I want to include only a few countries (canada, germany, japan, australia, UK)
but, this is the Include selection box (below)
Or, I can exclude countries and have to check EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD
and, if I do, will I have to do it FOR EVERY NEW LISTING UNLESS i SELECT "SELL SIMILAR"?
Ebay sure has a knack for complicating what used to be easy

I haven’t used the new listing tool yet but if you have your shipping preferences set up to exclude specific countries that should carry over to all listings. That’s how it worked with the old listing tool.

Last night was the first time I'd used the new form. I had to add all of my exclusions back to that listing. I am hopeful that they carry over to my other new listings... like it used to work, as @pjcdn2005 describes. If not, it'll be a 'check as you go' item, like unticking GSP with every new listing now.

the countries to INCLUDE are not ALL the ones that I want (the EBAY selections are listed in my OP) .
the countries to EXCLUDE have every single country in the world. if you only wanted one in, say, europe, you would have to check 50 others that you want to exclude. it is ridiculous.

If you use the exclusion form mentioned earlier you don’t have to click each country. For example if you want to ship only to The Netherlands, click on Europe and expand the list. Then deselect the Netherlands.
It definitely does work backwards from how it should probably work but it is doable.

They do tend to "FIX' things that ain't broke, and never for the better! Hey, research shipping to Germany . they have some new law about having to register your Shipping materials as being recycled or something to that effect. not sure if it trickles down to the casual seller or if its just for the likes of Amazon etc?
