inad return request

Hello. Just had a buyer start a inad return request, stating the sterling rim coasters did not match pictures or description even though they were the exact ones I sent her. She also stated that they were not silver and one came off and was plastic even though they are all marked sterling. Have I any recourse here or will ebay side with the buyer as always?  Thanks, Anna

Unfortunately with the ebay MBG there are 2 "hopes" ........Bob Hope and No Hope !!

Accept the return, and move on. Do not esculate it for ebay to decide as you will have to refund anyway, but also get a defect. Welcome to the world of insanity. Sorry this happened to you.

I had a "Not as Pictured or Described" just a few ago. Buyer claimed that she "could not possibly use the item" because of XXXX being on the item she purchased. Four pictures listed showed the XXXX on the item.

Ebay CS said they could see where the buyer was not honest, but could not help me. So I lost out on shipping cost to and from ($67.35).

Ebay are turning a blind eye to the theft, and hopefully the "chickens will come home to roost" so keep all documentation of any fraud/theft that occurs.

Just switch the first two words in this sentence and put a period instead of a question mark.

I once sold something that was listed as “heavily used with some deep scratches” with many pictures and the buyer opened a case saying it wasn’t in the shape he expected.  I couldn’t do anything but refund them and lose out on the shipping.

Sold the item the next week with the same listing and the buyer was extremely happy with the condition.  I list every small thing wrong with my items, unfortunately Ebay doesn’t protect you from fickle buyers.
