im curious about ePacket delivery from China

do some sellers lie about using ePacket delivery shipping method to attract a USA buyer? i ask because i am awaiting a package that is taking alot longer then it should(surposed to be no longer than 21 days).

When i first placed the order the seller told me that because of snow conditions it could take longer for me to recieve the package.
im suspecious.

It's likely that the Chinese New Year festival has caused delays.   Could be other reasons, like sometimes the smog there gets to be so bad that the cargo planes stay grounded, and I've been told that the packages scheduled for that flight go to the back of the line.  In any case, you should be able to tell by the type of tracking # they provided you if it's an e-packet.
