how to offer multiple shipping discount

I have several dvd's to sell, and figure I can put them up at the same time, different sales though. So how would I offer discount on multiple items if the buyer bought more than one?

You can do it through Promotions >> Create an Order Discount.

Before doing this, your items would need to be listed.  Select the kind of discount you want to offer (e.g., buy 1 get 1 at 50% off), and then select the listings that you want to group into the offer.

If you go to account, site preferences, shipping preferences, you can set upcombined shipping for multiple listings.
