how to change handling time? option not available in Bulk edit

I'm trying to change my handling time in the bulk edit, i've done it before but now when i try the "handling time'" option isn't there, only "shipping Policies", is this the only way to now?

If you are already using business policies you have to edit your handling time on the policy.  It can’t be done with bulk edit.

PJ is correct @valevilla_9013 . You have to update every single shipping policy one by one to change handling time. Or you can disable policies and use bulk edit which, if you rely on biz policies, is a horrible option.

Pain point for years. I keep lobbying eBay to change business policies and separate handling time from shipping policies and create standalone handling time policies. So far no luck. In my opinion it's a pretty essential change that's needed.

@valevilla_9013  Thanks for the tag @wastingtime101  @pjcdn2005  , I'm doing some research into this.  They took away the ability to do this the other day.  Please tag me if you see others.

To be clear though, the option for a Bulk Edit IS still there, what's gone, is the Filter option to filter by Handling Time.  So, if you know that you want to change ALL of them, you CAN still do that.  However, you can NO LONGER find all the 2 days & change them to 3 day, for example.  Which is a huge problem for some of us.  I use that feature more than any other option!  I change them all winter long when we have snowstorms, then go back to nice weather.

It's also especially annoying since if you send SIO's, you're locked out of editing the items you sent SIO's on, so when you do change something like Handling Time, you have to change them back over 4 days instead of 2 days.

Well, they did not take away the ability to edit biz policies in bulk. Want to make sure we're all on the same page here since the original post is exclusively about business policies.

What they took away was the filter in Seller Hub to filter listings by handling time which is impactful to you as a non-business policy user, particularly one that uses offers.

As we know, Time Away settings do not extend handling time in many offer situations so for some sellers it's a lot more effective to change handling time for short-term weather events or other situations.

Updating listings either with bulk edit or updating biz policies means any listings with open offers will not update so you have to go back and do it later. For biz policies it's easy enough to see which listings weren't updated because they are assigned to a "copy" policy, but for non-biz policies sellers rely on that handling time filter they removed from Seller Hub.

@wastingtime101  I'm confused.  I didn't read the OP as being about Bus Policies at all.  It says Bulk Edit.  But, since I don't use Biz Policies, perhaps I missed something that gave it away?  Regardless, you are correct that what they removed was the ability to FILTER by Handling Time on the SH>Active screen & that's what I was referring to & admittedly, could have been clearer.

Go back and read again. It says they used to use bulk edit, but now they are using shipping policies so they can't bulk edit handling time.

And my first response explained the edit process for biz policies, or the option to turn off biz policies if they didn't want to use them.

@wastingtime101  😥  Sorry, I read it wrong.  Just spread too thin right now & trying to do everything too quickly.  Sorry about that.
