how much delay for your item that goes throught isc chicago?if they were ever moved after?

ust want to see how stuck are the usps parcels for you guys,how long they been stuck at isc chicago, and if they ever end up moving and delivered?

for mines, they had been very good first 3 months in 2021 from canada to usa. they all delivery on time, or faster than normal world era days.

but since late feb, esp end of march to april they are horriflying. i have 2 parcels stuck at "processed at isc chicago" for over 20 25 days now without anyone being able to tell me what's going on.

i call usps, canada postal almost every day trying to push someone to help. nothing happens.

i looked and found isc chicago's direct number and all they could tell me is they know where the container that has my parcel is, and most they could do is sample other parcel's tracking that's in the same container, which by 20th day of stucking there, most of them were delivered. so it would be weird that only mines are still in that almost empty container.

another theory they got for me is that my shipping label is ruined so they can't scan it and tossed aside for the mail recovery department to handle if i file a trace. that seems very slim because how lucky i would be having two parcel shipped seperately on two different container to just have my specificly destoryed label during transit.

or another theory is that they were larger than the automatic sorting machine could handle, requires manual sorting and they got no man power in the place due to covid.

which is also hard to imagine because similar size parcel i shiped along with them went smooth, fast, delivered.

so now everything going into chicago has me go really paranoided.

ny is another bad place as well. twice this year i got parcel that got "missent" to a wrong post office and get rerouted multipule times to multipule incorrect post office. one end up going dark with no further tracking update after it says "forwarded"

one got fortunate that the local post office clerk promised to keep an eye for and got it delivered.

at this point i am very worry about buyer run out of patience, in fact one already gotten a refund. while item is stil so call "in transit" and ebay doesn't seems to care to extend the wait time for it to move.

I am totally desperate..don't know what to do.. From mid February until today i have shipped around 30 packages from Europe - Serbia to USA and tracking shows that only 7 have been delivered, also got confirmation from buyers, but for all others are written that they are arrived AT INTERNATIONAL SERVICE CENTER CHICAGO IL and they did not move anymore, some are sitting there around a month...
I have already sent refund for 3 buyers, in fact eBay closed the case in their favor and refund a money. I tried to explain the situation that packages are stuck at that Chicago service center and ask them to wait more, but eBay totally doesn't care, sellers are totally unprotected.. So i have no idea what to do about this.. Last year and years before everything was okay only sometimes a package was late or lost, but this year.. this is chaotic..
i only have problems with packages to USA, for other places everything goes smooth.

Hi... I have had a similar experience with the USPS. I ship a lot of pkgs to the U.S and I rarely had an issue before April 2021!    I have 4 packages that I mailed from Canada to the U.S. on 4 different days in the first week of May. All 4 pkgs ended up at ISC Chicago. Of the 4, only 1 pkg has actually started moving after 10 days without a tracking update! It has NOT  been delivered yet....but it does seem to be moving.  Still, it's now May 26th and I mailed it on May 4th... It's not what you want to see as an Ebay seller!      As for the other 3 pkgs... 2 have been "Inbound into Customs" since May 7th ( 19 days ago! ) For the 3rd pkg, the last update on tracking was 15 days ago...on May 11  and it says "Processed Through Facility ISC Chicago USPS"....  I have filed Service Tickets with Canada Post and I have asked the USPS to notify me of any tracking updates.  I have not given up....  I am hopeful that the packages will eventually be delivered.  I have no idea what is going on with the USPS, but there is clearly a problem!  There is actually a reddit group about it....  I think Ebay needs to make some changes to their "Item Not Delivered" policy. I feel that I did my part. I mailed the packages promptly, with tracking and insurance, via the quickest possible method offered by Canada Post.  I don't think I should be punished by the failure of the USPS to deliver the mail efficiently. I am more than happy to refund all costs to my Ebay buyers if the packages are deemed lost....but at this point, they are not officially  "Lost".

USPS Chicago sucks.

Packages usually do not move for about 15-17 days while in there when coming from Europe.

Previously i have been told by some postal worker (certainly can't remember by who exactly since it was close to a year ago) that international packages are being left for long periods of time on purpose because they are prioritizing USA to USA packages.

Update... 1 of my 4 pkgs that were stuck at ISC Chicago was actually delivered! Yaaay!  The total time from the post office in Canada to delivery in California was 21 days.  It's normally 6 business days.     After the

pkg arrived at ISC Chicago, the tracking said "INBOUND INTO CUSTOMS" for 10 days.... then no tracking updates for another 6 days before it said "DEPARTED USPS CHICAGO INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION CENTER" ...then another 4 days to deliver to California.   Not sure why this package was chosen to move....I have 3 others that are NOT moving. 

Trying to remain optimistic! 🙂
