As shown in the attached image I accepted a return for an item I sold. When doing so I issued a return label however a few days after I noticed that I put the wrong return address. I used the "Buy label via ebay" option when issuing the return label but only the buyer saw the label.
I need to contact USPS to see if they can re-route the package to me. The issue is that I cant locate the tracking number on the return request and the buyer did not record the tracking # when shipping the item.
Does anyone know how to find tracking info for these cases?

The tracking doesn't show up until the buyer ships the item. You will need to contact the buyer and ask them NOT to use the eBay label as it is incorrect and send them a label that YOU purchase and send them.

I contacted the buyer he said he mailed the package out today but he did not record the tracking #
Also why do you say the labels are not accurate?

Not labels.
Label.
Because you used the wrong address.

If he used the eBay label, eBay will display the tracking number in the return case.

The only way to re-route the package is to put in a forwarding address at the post office zip in which the item is being delivered to. USPS does not have a re-routing feature like UPS does. The cost would probably phenomenal if they did.
