Hi,
i have bought an item from the US and the item was send with the Global Shipping Program. i am located in France.
I have just seen that the item cleared customs in the Netherlands. Something is wrong. Is there a contact number for this company that is handling the shipping because i dont want to mess with local post offices.
thanks

@alicecoopermark when it's past the last estimated delivery date stated in your purchase history file an item not received refund request in the resolution center at the bottom of the page.
Then the seller calls eBay and tells them it's a GSP case

actually i was hopping to resolve the situation in a manner that will ensure item delivery. i know i can get the money back. but its a collectible item. not that can re-buy it that easilly.

Have you contacted your seller who could possibly be of some help ?

Have you ordered anything through the global shipping program before and if so, was it handled differently?
I am just guessing but its possible that the GSP EU items get cleared in the Netherlands and than shipped on through to Germany.

Is the seller ultimately responsible or is it the responsibility of the GSP? I thought one of the reasons for a seller to use the GSP was to reduce risk. Please let me know. Thank you.

@wpt05 The GSP covers cases for items that are damaged in shipping or items that are not received.
The buyer still has to file a refund request though. In theory the system knows that it's a GSP case and the refund comes straight from the GSP then... personally I always recommend that sellers CALL CS to make sure that the refund comes from the GSP and not their account.

The European entry point could be in the Netherlands thus it would go through clearance there.
If it only just cleared, give it a few days to see what goes on.
Edit: ooops, I see @pjcdn2005 already said it 😃 I was skimming.

The european entry point is not in the Netherlands but anyways problem solved.
just for anyone having the same problem the tracking was completely wrong. Item came to france while on Pitney-Bowes tracking site as well as e-bay it says Netherlands.
Only the local carrier (GLS) was correct
