first class return

So I am returning this useless type c to HDMI cord that only charges a phone and does not do any type of screen sharing whatsoever. Anyways the point is I have a first class shipping label and I put it in a priority mail box because that's what I always use for all of my poshmark sales so I have a whole stack of them. Anyways it came back returned to Sender even though I am actually the buyer. So what kind of box do I use send this stupid cord back to the stupid seller

Pretty much any generic box or padded envelope which will protect the item during shipment.  Just not a Priority Mail box as they can ONLY be used for Priority Mail service.  A First Class Mail Package label will not cover the cost of shipping in that box.  It's a USPS technicality as they provide the box free of charge. 

From the USPS:
"First-Class Package Service-Retail Parcels

• Maximum weight: 13 ounces – Price based on weight and zone.
  • Parcels that exceed 13 ounces are mailed at the Priority Mail® rate
• Size Requirements:
  • Maximum Size: First-Class Package Service-Retail Parcels cannot measure more than 108 inches in length and girth combined.
• Pieces that exceed the maximum size requirements are mailed as USPS Retail Ground® parcels."

Also, just an FYI, USB-C to HDMI cables only work if the device truly supports the capability.  Some devices do not have the capability to send a video signal via USB-C.

Use any PLAIN cardboard box, or bubble envelope.

If you got the return label from the buyer, it is an 'ebay 1st class RETURN label' and is used on any box, including Priority. The local office that returned it to you simply does not know that. 

Just a heads up- if the charging cord works, assuming it's USB on 1 end, you have to tell your phone it is 'ok' to put things up on the computer screen. The phone will ask.
