hello - anyone having problems printing shipping labels this am? - 6/6/19 am?

I have a shipment going to Puerto Rico and I keep getting that message - 'error generating label.'  I was able to print 

other domestic labels without problem.  I have to go thru a process similar to international shipments to ship to

Puerto Rico anymore.

Is this 'wait and try later' issue or should I contact e-bay?  Or does anyone else know any solutions?  I appreciate your help / input.  Thanks.

Hello e-bay moderator - Can't print shipping label to Puerto Rico.  Can you please get it registered with e-bay tech so we don't get a negative mark saying 'did not ship on time?'   Thanks.   I have tried so many times and different ways other than taking to post office to ship.  That is what I might do next but please make sure it is noted so sellers are not negatively impacted.  Thanks.

There are no ebay moderators here (at least in the sense you mean) and eBay isn't seeing this.

Your issue is probably customs form related.

I ran into that (or a similar) error a day or so ago using the classic label flow for a label to Guam - it threw a red error and directed me to fill out customs information (don't recall how I got to the customs info, but it was a link or similar right there). Once I filled out the customs info, it circled back to the label page, and I was able to purchase and print the label.

Required or not by USPS, eBay seems to force customs forms for most or all shipments to territories.

Try using the classic label flow if you are using the new label flow and seeing that issue.
You can get to the classic flow from a new label flow page by editing the URL and loading that new URL:
replace "new_label" with "back_to_classic" without the quotes and load that to get the classic flow for that label.

I am having the same issue and I am not finding the work around this other person did. Trying to ship to PR as well. Labels to other places in the US seem to be working fine as I printed another label to OH.

thanks.  I appreciate your help.  I am not seeing your reply till this evening. I ended up going to the post office.

Your fix does work.  I did fill  the custom form out but kept coming back with the error message.  

In any case, I know what to do next.  thanks.

Just to be clear: You were using the new label flow and DID fill out the customs form, but it still threw the error? If so, that is different behavior than the classic label flow, and may be an actual issue with that flow.

But the use of the classic flow as a workaround does appear to be an option for now.

What does the buyer's Ship To: address show for the State and Country values? Should be "PR" and "USA" (or possibly "United States") respectively. There have been problems with PR buyers putting "PR" in the Country field by mistake.

I just came across this trying to ship a order to the US virgin islands. Ebay wouldn't let me. Paypal wouldn't let me.   So i just cancelled to order "problem with buyers address".
