I am tired of ebay switching my payment method.
If I have it set to us my processing balance to pay for shipping label managed payments/ebay should take the money out of the processing balance and NOT switch back to my PayPal account without warning.
I am tired of ebay doing what every they want when ever they want and then telling the sellers it is not there fault!
any idea how to fix this?

I have my Managed Payments set to pay for shipping labels from pending payouts, but the last time I printed shipping labels I didn't have any pending payouts (sales have been slow since not being able to list new inventory since my source has been closed since March 2020), so ebay charged my Paypal account for the shipping label. Thank goodness I had money in that account!

Yes, I did the no-money-no-honey just in case this happens: Set up a new PayPal account, and connected it to eBay.
As soon as eBay can't charge a label to the empty PayPal account, I'll know.

I share the sentiment regarding eBay's tendency to switch payment methods without notice. For me, this is particularly irksome as all my shipping charges are set to go through PayPal, which is linked to my credit card. This earns me a 1.5% cashback on all those transactions. When eBay changes the payment source without my consent, it's not just a violation of my preferences, but it also disrupts the financial incentives I've carefully set up. And let's not forget, when using a credit card, we're actually spending our own money. It's crucial to remember this, especially when credit card companies benefit from the notion that people are spending 'someone else's money.' Therefore, having control over our financial resources is both a matter of principle and practicality
