ebay Standard envelope

I sold a postcard on ebay and went to print the shipping label. The buyer selected the ebay standard envelope, but when I went to pick the shipping option it didn't have the "ebay standard envelope" highlighted. I entered the correct dimensions and the weight was only 1 ounce and still it wouldn't let me select the ebay standared envelope. I have called ebay three times today and still haven't received an answer why I couldn't print the label.  When I listed the postcard the option for the ebay standard envelope was available and this is why I included it in the different shipping options. If anyone can explane what I did wrong please comment.

this is a common question on the boards..........I think you have to list in certain categories to use the envelope.

I know its for sports cards but I do not know if you can send post cards.

ebay has expanded its use of the 51 cent envelope to certain items/categories

the same question is also asked about using medial mail...ebay has restricted that to certain categories

If you have to list in certain catagories shouldn't that list be on the page that explains how ebay standard envelope works??
