eIS way faster with signature?

I've done a few eIS and they always sit for ages in inspection at the hub.

The only shipment that I've sent with signature delivery skipped the inspection process and was in and out same day.

Maybe I just got lucky, IDK.

My guess is that it was coincidence.   I can't think of a reason why they would send something out faster just because the seller paid for a signature for the domestic portion of the trip.

Could be.

I don't normally send items over 1k with eIS that require signature.

Mostly small items and they always sit for awhile.

I could have just got lucky, but maybe they process things differently that require signature because they would be typically higher in value?

There is written signature or a digital signature....that's a big difference but cost the same and you have to ask for the written one...otherwise, anything can happen.

This hub probably has no snow plows for this winter...I used to live in Chicago. And if Chicago shuts down you bet this hub will be shut down longer.

Hopefully, the holidays bring no snow to Chicago. Wishful thinking. I moved out out of Chicago after a horrible snowstorm on St. Valentine's Day. I walked home from downtown Chicago where I worked to the North side where I lived since no trains or buses or taxis were running.

Sadly, it appears eBay made a mistake.

Now they have removed that tracking information completely from my order. And it's sitting in inspection, I hope they didn't lose my shipment.

Well this thread isn't about speed anymore, but I'm curious if eBay has made a mistake.

Like in the first picture they added a PBX tracking to my order. I actually had it saved before it was removed.

The interesting thing is looking up that tracking according to parcel app it went to same location as my order, and is the same weight.

That tracking now shows delivered, but my item still sitting in inspection at hub ever since it was removed.

Now it could be a coincidence, but makes me wonder.
