eBay standard envelope not working

Hi, so I shipped an item in an eBay standard envelope last Thursday (whenever I mailed it). I put it in the bin with some other packages. Now my other packages were scanned and on their way. But the envelope shows no tracking updates or nothing; now over a week later. I tried contacting the buyer to see if they got it yet, twice, and I have not seemed to get an answer. How should I handle this? 
Definitely will not be sending anything through envelopes after this.

I’m having the same issues with ESUS tracking too. Bought something on the 11th and tracking was provided the same day. Nothing ever since that. No scans, no origin processing or anything.

Somebody posted on another thread about this same topic that they spoke to someone at Ebay and said they were told that Ebay & USPS are no longer under contract for ESE and that's why no tracking is coming in through Ebay anymore, but ESE can be tracked through other tracking apps. I can't remember which ones off the top of my head, but the tracking is showing up on other postal tracking platforms. I'm sure if you browse these forums you will be able to find them in other discusssions as I have seen people also say where they can track them. Wether what this other person said about USPS & Ebay no longer having a contract is true or not, I don't know, but the ESE envelopes do still work, just not being tracked on Ebay. Ebay appears to not be addressing the issue publicly, but I can guarantee they know exactly what is going on.

Hi. Sorry to hear others are experiencing the same issues I had. I came up with a solution that worked for me and wanted to share it. Check my post for details—I had 25 envelopes with no tracking updates between 2/10 and 2/20, but using this method, I was able to locate them all. Hope it helps, and good luck!

The original poster's issue is different as their item was not eligible for ESE. But for those that bumped this later regarding ESE scan issues:

eBay posted an announcement here.

"We are aware of an issue with eBay Standard Envelope shipments not displaying tracking events on eBay. We are working to resolve this issue and are in the process of updating the display of tracking events for the impacted shipments.  

If your shipment is impacted and you have an Item Not Received claim due to this issue, your item will be eligible for the included shipment protection. Additionally, eBay will automatically protect your service metrics for Item Not Received cases."
