eBay needs to check into a global shipping program glitch - Russian Federation being only option!

Someone else started this on another thread.  I had been noticing since the invasion that when I went to lower prices on older inventory my global shipping had been changed to only shipping to Russian Federation.  I have NEVER made that setting, as I always choose "worldwide" as I am trusting eBay to handle the packages at the global shipping center to the countries they ship to.  I believe this is a hack, and no my son who lives 3 hours away from me is experiencing the same thing.  Not sure how this could be happening outside of a hack.

I noticed this as well.

This is why I try to check for every detail of my listings.  

I just caught  a couple dozen listings with my shoe size settings to UK shoe size instead of US shoe size.

Weather these various "glitches" are intended or not it behooves you to check for everything.

I am looking at your listings and it does show worldwide shipping.    Only exclusions are French Polynesia, Libya, New Caledonia, Venezuela, Ukraine, Russian Federation.

We do not ship outside the US currently (changed everything during the covid timeline), but recently, received an order to NZ, which was weird, as e-Bay has AU and NZ locked down, except thru GSP, and we do not use GSP currently.

Buyer was very easy to interact with and understood, etc.  When I went to bulk edit to check, there were several listings that showed NZ and only NZ and we changed everything back.  Just totally weird.  

Glitch a minute on here - really keeps you on your toes!

This is what I see on your listings....

The first block is the countries GSP WILL ship to, they do not serve all countries.

The bottom line is exclusions.

eBay has added Russia and Ukraine to the exclusion list recently, for obvious reasons.

Can you give a listing number that you see this on?  Like others I see your listings with shipping to the gsp countries. Russia and Ukraine are blocked but that was done by eBay on all sellers listings.

I didn’t realize that you were referring to what you were seeing on the listing form until I read another thread about the same thing.

I have seen that happen before on non gsp listings but think that it’s just a glitch that will show on your listing form but not show on your active listing. Plus, ebay has added Russia to the excluded list on all listings so buyers from there could not buy from you even if you wanted them to.

I have been going thru and editing my listings.  I have seen it on around 20 of my older listings.  What I am seeing on those that have needed to be changed is that Russian Federation is the ONLY country marked that I will ship to.

Probably 80% of my listings are correct.  So far I have found around 20 of my older listings marked as shipping only to the Russian Federation, not excluding them

I do check very closely, the thing is these have changed since originally listed.  I NEVER have any other global shipping option other than worldwide (as far as the countries eBay ships to in the global shipping program)

      I looked at a couple of your listings and it looks like you have several countries included but at the moment Russia and a couple other countries are excluded. This may be another one of the infamous eBay glitches. I believe, because of the sanctions, they updated all sellers listings to exclude Russia and potentially something went wrong the adversely impacted the older listings. Even if a Russian buyer purchased an item the GSP is not shipping to Russia at the moment.

You will see it on your exclusion list if you go into one of your active listings just like a buyer would, click on the shipping and payments tab and look at the list of countries that you ‘ship to’ and then the countries that you exclude. Russia is showing only in the ‘Excludes’  list. Another poster has a screenshot of one of your listings showing that in post 12.  

You may have already ‘fixed’ that particular listing but if you see another listing that shows the glitch when you look at it on the listing form, you can check the active listing before you make any changes and I am fairly sure that it will still show Russia on the excluded list only.
