As a seller I got one from North Carolina today...I live in San Francisco.
Usually when item is returned it will say on it what is going on.
Postmaster couldn't tell me more today.
People move, people die and so on.

It's a little odd that the city name is exactly the same in both IN and MI here. It does say it was transferred to a post office in IN and it kinda looks to me like the post office screwed up and sent it to MI, but I have no idea if that's right and that's where the problem started. Are you in MI? If it were me, I'd contact UPS customer service with the UPS tracking number and see if they might be able to give you more information. Or the UPS hub in Elkhart IN where it was before they sent to the post office there. Maybe they can help.

I dug into the number a bit @dirk12955 and there's a UPS SurePost number tied to that shipment. It looks like the issue occurred at your local level based on location, and the package (or perhaps entire palette) was rejected and sent back. It never transferred hands between UPS and USPS for final delivery.
I would call UPS to ask if they could provide more details.

I'm so unwilling to spend much time on a $13.00 order.
I'm in Elkhart, Indiana and The package was coming here to me.
I've been doing mail order for 40 years and selling on eBay for 22 years with items going out
and being delivered on a daily basis. To say that the people at the PO in my small town "Know me"
would be an understatement.
I was thinking about this last night watching basketball.
Could the seller have recalled this $13.00 box of envelopes for some reason? MAybe sent the wrong
items and intercepted it? Maybe that was the nature of the "Disruption"
Weird, Weird, And not enough money to get too concerned about.

Based on what I found it looks like the issue occurred before the palette was transferred from UPS to USPS. If it was a package recall it would have said so.
It's possible that USPS refused it for damage. The address on the label might have gotten messed up. Lots of possibilities.
