eBay is ignoring handling times set in all my listing.

I set 10 handling days for all my listing months ago, but eBay keeps telling my buyers they will get their item within 8 days after payment including weekends.

Their system just ignoring my handling days, do anybody know how to fix this?

I had to take down all my 400 listings because of this problem.

I don't see any completed or sold listings under this user ID.

If you sell under another user ID, why didn't you just the bulk edit to revise all of your listings and increase the handling time, in case the error is due to a glitch (with no estimated time when it will be fixed)?

I tried changing the handling time from 10 days to 30 days and still shows 8 days to deliver anyway, eBay system keeps ignoring my handling times.

Out of curiosity, have you enabled the Guaranteed Delivery Date feature on your listings? (The one where buyers get a coupon if that date passes?) If so, that might 'juke' your dates a bit.

Just trying to think outside the box...

I'm having the same problem. I just tried to change my handling time to 10 business days, and it showed delivery within 10 business days, ignoring the time it takes for the item to be shipped. I contacted eBay through chat and they were no help whatsoever. I had to switch my listings back to a 15 day handling time to account for the error.

I believe eBay sometimes ignores handling times and gives a delivery date based on the  average time it took for past deliveries.

eBay estimates mostly ignore handling time and base the estimate on how quickly your items usually arrive so

If you have 10 day handling but usually ship within one or two days eBay is going to give an estimate based on that one two days you usually take not the 10 days you set

Just to show one more example of this.  I stepped away from my business, set my handling time out and put vacation settings on.   The handling time option has a jump from 5 to 10 days so I  put 10 even though I really thought that 6 would work (5 was not long enough)

And this is what I got on the first sale.  This is NOT a good selling experience, nor is it a good buying experience.  I won't be able to ship until the 6th. (Washington state to New York state)

Do you understand how mess up that is?, then handling days option has no use/purpose if eBay will define the delivery date even when they're not the ones packing, taking the item to the shipping office and actually making the delivery to the buyer house.

But if item is not delivery by the last day the seller is the only one losing all (item, money and fees), not eBay not USPS but the seller.

In the end is bad experience for both seller and buyer, but mostly seller.
