Ebay has announced it's adding an extra day to shipping estimates per USPS guidelines. Yet I received two orders on Saturday 4/18 (which will ship Monday 4/20) with estimated delivery dates of 4/21 - 4/23. One is going from Houston to Michigan (item #202913849675), which would take 4 to 5 days under normal circumstances. The other is shipping to Minnesota (item #s 202967610850, 193427672682), again a 4- to 5-day trip. They may not arrive by 4/23, much less 4/21.
I have one-day shipping. I only rarely ship the same day, and my post office closes at noon on Saturday. What gives with these weird and unrealistic estimates, especially now?
