So I had something strange happen last week when shipping orders. I dropped off 25 packages at my USPS post office only to find out a couple of days later that 15 were never scanned in. After working with USPS I discovered today that each of these orders has TWO tracking numbers assign to them. Unfortunately the trackling number that is on the packages themselves is NOT the one eBay is tracking.
The good new is that based on the second tracking number all of the packages have either been delivered or are on their way. I assume there was a glitch between the eBay and USPS interface. But I'm not sure if eBay is going to ding my account as they are tracking a fictious tracking number for a package that wil never be delivered.
Anyone else run into this issue?
