eBay International Shipping Program

I've called Customer Service twice, asking the reason why I am not getting offered to enroll in the International Shipping Program.

Both times, the reps agreed that I was eligible; one told me it is an automated process, and the other told me that I should get the offer in 24-72 hours.

I waited a week, and I still don't see the option to enroll.

Does anyone know what the reason might be that I am not being offered that option?

It has already been confirmed that I meet the enrollment criteria.

Your items listed are shipped only in the USA? I looked at one.

So why need eBay International Shipping?

There is nothing you personally can do -

eBay continuously evaluates seller performance and enrolls sellers when possible. You will be enrolled into eBay International Shipping when your account is eligible. You will be notified via email and Messages in My eBay about this change to your account as soon as it happens.

Once eBay decides you can be in EIS, they will send you the messages.

CS has been known to tell you what you want to hear but the CS agent who said its automated is correct.

I'm pretty sure you need to have more than a hand full of sales to be eligible. Like hundreds. You will be notified when you do become eligible and yes it's probably decided entirely by computer. Keep successfully selling stuff domestically and you'll get there.

Also understand that eBay's phone callback and chat "customer service" is an offshore call center where they know very little beyond a few scripts and google. They will often just make stuff up to get you off the phone asap.
