does FedEx ever update tracking?

So I sent a package via FedEx for the first time. Price was good (was a heavy item) and pretty fast. Problem is, the buyer picked it up yesterday, but tracking still says it's waiting for pick-up. The buyer has left positive feedback, but I don't feel comfortable having an expensive item still be shown as not delivered. Like everyone else, I've had some issues USPS tracking being accurate (honest???)--do I just have to accept the same thing with FedEx? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Money motivates, so you could ask FedEx how much they pay for this undelivered package. But beware if you shipped through eBay's FedEx account.

Have you gone to the FedEx website and tracked it there? Sometimes eBay's tracking is slow to update. There are also some tools on their website you can use. https://www.fedex.com/en-us/tracking/advanced.html
