So long as you check  your seller is reputable and has excellent feedback.

Has anyone had a bad experience?

I am sure some one will have, but no way I can confirm that

How do I check if everything is working and ok?

You try it out as soon as you receive it, no other way of knowing until you have it.

I need to know which pack is the safest. thank you so much

No idea what  you are asking

I have purchased a lot of small parts with no trouble.   You have to check the seller with care on items such as high end video cards and laptop batteries.    Battery packs are best purchased new unless you just need the parts and plan to rebuild it.
