combine shipping for the same product but different sizes

I am trying to list rc airplane props.  There are 12 different sizes of props within the same category (props).  My shipping cost for the customer is $3.75 plus $.75 for each additional item.

Example:  if a customer adds a 6 x 4  prop at $3.75 and adds another 11 x 7 props the shopping cart is charging $7.50.  It should be $4.50.

Each prop is listed separately.  Should I list using the drop down window to fix this?

Be careful as to not lose money.  Remember that postal rates went up in the summer plus in Oct., the new holiday surcharge started.  Hopefully someone can answer your question.

By listed separately you mean totally different listings right? You need to set up a flat rate shipping rule on your shipping preferences page.  Then you need to check off the box on those listings to associate them with that rule.
