? about returning an item

Hello,

I won and item that was not at all what the seller listed and asked for a refund. I was told the process was started and to wait. I waited and then on Thurs. the 1st, I received a message saying that it needed to be returned by the 5th or else I may not get my refund. That was at night and I wasn't able to get to the P.O. until Fri. 2nd but it was shipped. 

Is that normal for them to warn me with only 5 days left to get it shipped back?  With the P.O. closed on Sundays,  it may not get there by the 5th. 

As far as I know, I did what I was told. Will I loose out?

It doesn't have to get there by the 5th, it has to be shipped by then.  You should be fine.  The fine print in the notice you got from eBay did have that information in it - you had 5 days to get the item shipped.

eBay gives you 5 business days to ship the item back. It only has to be shipped not delivered.
