I am adding a label printer and I am having trouble formating the label to print correctly. Can anyone point me in the right direction regarding where I might find the place to change the layout of the label aside from the actual "Print" screen. I have already done it from there with no satisfaction. It keeps appearing as a pdf, with the wrong orientation, wrong size, and will not print correctly.
thanks for any help ahead....

Did you set the label format in the eBay Shipping and Receipts preferences?
Did you check the printer preferences from the control panel is the correct size?
Make sure your browser is set to open PDF files with Adobe and not its built in reader.
When the label preview opens, set the Target Printer to the Zebra, set Size to Actual, and Orientation to Auto.
If still a problem come back with OS and browser you are using. A screen shot of the label preview will also help.

It's not an easy set-up. I bought one from a reputable seller on eBay who included detailed instructions, but even then I still had issues for the first couple years. I had to have JAVA installed to get it to work. Then my computer would keep dropping the printer or the browsers didn't like it. One day, it just started working reliably. Could have been due to some software or browser updates, but I can't say for sure which ones. And yes, there's the ebay and Paypal printing preferences you need to tweak too.

boardnpostsid............... The Java Runtime is no longer needed to use a label printed, and when it went away, so did most of the problems. Labels are all now presented in PDF, which makes things much more straight forward, but basic printer settings still do need to be made.

Ah, that explains why it suddenly started to work reliably. I do notice the labels open in PDF, but had no ideal that it didn't need java anymore.

Once you install the drives for the printer, find all your printers (control panel in windows) , locate the zebra , right click, select printer properties and do a test print. You need to make sure the stock is set at 4X6 (if that's the size label you use) for it to print correctly.
