This post has to do with the Christmas selling season. I have usually used USPS to ship out my items. I am not a high volume seller and have not had many issues up until this point. I have heard something about POTUS and an issue with USPS and am very concerned as to how long I should keep my Christmas items posted. In the past, I have stopped selling about a week before December 23rd but now am wondering if it would be better to stop selling 2 weeks before 12/23. Does anyone else share my concern and what are you planning to do? I would hate to lose that last week of business but if the USPS cannot deliver before 12/23/2020 and I am put into the position to have to refund people because their Christmas gift was not delivered on time...
Thanks in advance, these are strange times, for certain!

OP, I ship using UPS and find that the difference in shipping rates with USPS is very minimal. I especially ship boxes over 2 lbs with UPS ground.
But come the holidays EVERY SHIPPING SERVICE will be slow. The retail sites always alert sellers and buyers that their packages won't arrive on time. Really, there's nothing you can do except deliver the package yourself.
Offer your buyers OVERNIGHT shipment for a cost.

Don't trust DJT. I just don't. the man flip flops flips again. He's going to find a way to neuter the PO and screw everybody. And his Republican enablers don't help. I wish somebody - Romney or Cruz - would step up and say something about what he's trying to do.

FedEx and UPS are good shippers for many things, but there are some where they are not so great -- out of the CONUS, bulky items, things going to P.O. boxes, and they seem to be less liable to pay out on insurance claims without a lot of handwavium.
