I shipped a package last week to Canada and now it is in Malaysia? Buyer is now asking me about it. I have shipped to Canada many times but never did it go thru Malaysia. Does anyone have any ideas? The buyer put their zipcode all together unlike a normal Canadian zip code. I think the zip code for Canadian is supposed to have a space... I wonder if that was the problem.

I once sent a package to Canada and it wound up, first, in Cook Islands, then it went on to New Zealand - never to be seen again.
I sent a package to Colombia and it wound up in Canada.
Packages are sorted by people - people make mistakes.
My post office (and I assume yours as well) has an internal computer not accessible by the general public. There is lots more information there. Bring the tracking number to your PO and ask them to look into it. Do not accept any answer if the clerk just types the info into the computer in front of them. That is the wrong computer. Ask for a supervisor to check the “main” computer.

The postal codes in Malaysia are all numbers, totally unlike our postal codes in Canada so that isn't the problem. It sounds like someone really goofed at the post office.
I don't think that most people here use the space in the postal code, it has been ok to do for quite a while now.
