I am having an issue with a buyer. They purchased an item, I shipped it 20 minutes later, three HOURS later they filed a claim with paypal saying items wasn't received or was different than ordered.
Anyway, so the tracking info. USPS tracking via ebay shows it was delivered yesterday, then a couple of hours later it was refused, then return to sender was processed.
If I go to the USPS site it shows (at the exact same time stamp as the delivery shows on the ebay tracking) "USPS in possession of item" and if I try to request a copy of the delivery signature it says it wasn't delivered.
Guessing it might just be the way the carrier handles a refusal but this whole transaction just has me on edge - the thought of the buyer actually having had the item for a couple of hours...I don't even want to think about it.
What I really don't get is the discrepancy between the two tracking sites - it should be the same data.
