Why does the shipping site for new sellers not let the weight/cost be adjusted when we buy a label?

Just sold our second book. Weight came in at the next lower pound but eBay still charged us like the earlier weight. The system is screwed up.

I don't understand if your problem is not being able to figure out how to edit weight (which is possible before you buy a label) or if your problem is not understanding how rates are calculated by rounding up (ex: package that weighs 1 lb 1 oz is billed at the 2 lb rate --- or a package that's charged based on cubic rates means the volume is small enough to determine the rate rather than the actual weight so whether it's 10 lbs or 6 lbs you're paying a lower cubic rate rather than a weight-based rate).

What are the package weight and dimensions - and the adjusted weight info @rwybooks ?

Edit to add: the rate I'm seeing on the listing you just sold is the cubic rate which is lower than any rate 1lb + so really you're saving money here. Changing weight won't affect that rate but changing dimensions could bump the rate.

Walk without rhythm, it won't attract the worm.
