I purchased a pair of Apple AirPods that turned out to be counterfeit. I went through the return process without any issues, choosing the option that the item was fake.
Upon receiving the returned product, the seller relisted it, so I left negative feedback to warn others of their actions. eBay promptly removed it. I asked customer support what happened, and was told that because I had been issued a refund, I could not leave negative feedback.

Ebay has no way of knowing whether or not your item was a fake. You may have been returning them for other reasons but claimed fake. Innocent until proven guilty. If a number of other buyers also claim fake on that seller's items, then ebay will step in and sanction that seller.

Tell the truth, your negative was removed due to the huge amount of negative, abusive feedback you leave

If the seller is a Top Rated Seller and reports you as abusing the Money Back Guarantee (that is, they tell eBay that you lying to get free return shipping), then eBay will remove any negative or neutral feedback.
Recently, I saw a seller of used cell phones that was selling hundreds a month without any negative feedback. I thought, "Wow, that is really unusual for a cell phone seller ... maybe they are the diamond in the rough". Their prices were decent, so I bought it.
They were not a diamond, but a slimy seller who simply knows how to manipulate the system. They did multiple dishonest things with the transaction including (a) using USPS Priority Mail supplies for a first class shipment - a bubble mailer for padding inside of a Small Flat Rate Box, with an external poly bag to hide it, (b) misrepresenting the condition of the item, (c) sending the wrong model that only works in a degraded mode on my cell network, and (d) guiding me to use the return reason of "changed mind" despite clearly sending the wrong version of the phone. If I leave bad feedback, they will report me as abusive and get the feedback removed ... so, I won't even bother. eBay doesn't have a mechanism to identify and discipline this kind of slimy seller.

Protection of a slimy seller ?
What happened to ebay's alleged dedication in helping insure a happy buyer experience by policies & rules & the abundance of penalities available to ebay & purportely levied upon those sellers that provide a less than happy buyer transaction experience ?

When buyers cannot leave their opinion of a transaction, we're all left to eBay's devices. We hope they have elaborate back-end systems to detect this behavior, but my guess is it's more along the lines of weighing how much a seller makes eBay.
Feedback used to be a first-line of defense. Nowadays, if your transaction goes poorly, but you eventually got a refund, you can't tell your story.

You do seem to have more than your share of issues with sellers judging from your feedback left for others. Perhaps you should take more care in choosing from whom you decide to purchase.

eBay has no way to determine whether a seller is selling counterfeit goods until they have multiple complaints. Unfortunately, you have left a substantial number of negative feedback with rather unprofessional language. Repeatedly stating sellers are scammers is offensive. Granted you weren't happy with the transaction. Reading your feedback many would be reluctant to sell to you and I imagine landed you on many Block lists. It's best to keep feedback factual and avoid shaming words. Also you need to screen your sellers more carefully to avoid these problematic transactions.

Word for word: "Sold me a counterfeit pair of Apple AirPods"
Oh, the humanity!
If you dislike some of the feedback I've left proven scammers (further evidenced by their now "unregistered" status), that's your misguided problem. I've dealt with some ridiculous sellers on this site.
If all those sellers are bad, then you must set yourself up to be ripped off
