Just wondering what I'm doing wrong. I have 1 day handling and 1st class USPS shipping and somehow this equals 10 days delivery time in the estimate on my listing. Other sellers selling the same thing and shipping first class have 5 days less estimated delivery time.

When I look at your listings, you have Standard Shipping selected which is 1-5 days. You do not have USPS First Class Parcel selected. So when I look at your listings it tells me that deliver would be Nov. 13th. Which would be accurate if you take out Saturday and Sunday [twice] and the Veteran's day holiday. As those don't count as delivery days.
I think you are not considering weekends and holidays and you don't have First Class selected. I use Standard myself and 0-1 day handling. Personally I think you are fine. YOu just misunderstand how the days are counted.

Yes it says standard shipping but in the shipping and payments tab it says "Standard Shipping (USPS First Class Package®) ." This is the item I'm confused about: https://www.ebay.com/itm/123951021151. When I search for this item, I can see other sellers around my price who also selected "Standard Shipping (USPS First Class Package®)" have a much shorter estimated delivery time of Nov 7 to Nov 9 while mine says on or before Nov 12.
Actually now that I'm looking closely I see some sellers having the same issue as me, the Nov 12 est delivery date even though they selected 1st class. It looks like the "Top Rated Plus" sellers get a shorter estimated delivery time and the rest of us get a much longer est delivery.
I do have one late shipment on my record which is very frustrating because I mailed it in 1 business day as I always do but USPS must have lost it for about 2 weeks. Only after about 2 weeks did the package show as shipped. Luckily I had a very kind and patient buyer.

The top section of any listing only says the basic type of service (standard, expedited, etc.) not the specific service. As noted in the other post, you have to go to the "Shipping and payments" tab to see the specific service(s) which the seller offers.

Here is what it says for the item you referenced to ship from Cypress, Texas to Covington, GA 30014 or 847 miles via the Interstate route. Monday is November 4, add one day handling plus estimated shipping time 1-3 days for FCB & Std Priority . Looks like the soonest estimated delivery date is Nov. 7 so it looks like eBay add a couple extra days 'cause Estimates can take a little longer than expected.
Where was you ship to address/zip code?? West Coast States, Hawaii & Alaska can take longer.

For what I see on the listings, it says I would receive by the 13th. Right or wrong, it is what it shows when I view the listings. And it would be correct if the listing were set up with Standard Shipping which is 1-5 days and a handling time of 0-1 days.
So if purchased today, today and Sunday don't count in the transit time of the item. The seller would show on their dashboard that they would need to ship by Monday Nov. 4th.
Tuesday through Friday would be 4 of the 5 days in transit, so now we are up to Nov. 8th.
Saturday and Sunday don't count as they are not considered business days, so now we are up to Nov. 10th.
Monday is a Holiday so it doesn't count, now it is Nov. 11th.
Tuesday is the 5th transit day so it should be received no later than Wednesday Nov. 13th.
Right or wrong, the stated delivery dates work if the above settings are selected.

That’s true but the op only has 1 or 2 listings that specify first class. The majority of them show the generic standard shipping in both fields.

It gives you that estimate on my listing? Interesting. When I check my own listing in an incognito window it says Nov 12, and it does know where I'm located because it has the zip code right, "Estimated on or before Tue. Nov. 12 to 77429"

Ebay says "Estimated on or before Tue. Nov. 12 to 77429." So if I mailed it on Monday to someone in my zip code, ebay is estimating a week if we dont include Vets day on Nov 11. Isnt that a bit strange? Also, other sellers, selling the same thing and also selecting 1st class shipping, get estimates 3-5 days shorter. Again if we discount for Vets day, 2-4 days shorter.

I revised one of those generic standard shipping listings, now its 1st class. Estimated delivery time dropped by 1 day. Or I suppose it could have dropped by two days but Vets day is making it look like 1 day.
Just for fun I revised again and changed to Priority mail, the shipping estimate went up a day from Nov 12 to Nov 13. 😞 Changed it back to 1st class already.

I've got no answer for that. I went off what I see which is a different zip code as I'm on the West coast. As we know the info is driven off the zip code of the member who is logged in and looking at listings with their account. So what I see would be different than what someone in zip 77429 would see. Or it should be different.
You should report the issue to Ebay. They rather have their plate full right now as the site is having serious issues this past month. But you should report it anyway.

On your PlayStation game which shows first class I see delivery on or before nov 12 with a Cali zip. A Houston zip shows guaranteed by Nov. 7. That same Houston zip shows an estimate of Nov. 7-12 when I look at a generic standard listing and to Cali the estimate is just Nov. 13....no range.
