I am trying to simplify my process for printing labels with my Dymo 4XL printer. All posts for this printer are largely outdated, including the page on dymos official website (https://www.dymo.com/en_US/online-support-print-labels) for how to print labels on Ebay.
Every post I find instructs me to find the "Printer and label receipt preferences" setting (or some variation) on the old label buying/printing page, and then select a specific Zebra printer in that setting.
This page / setting appears to have been replaced with the far simple "PDF or image" setting on the label page, only allowing you to select pdf or image, and 3 different sizes.
The problem I am facing, is even with 4x6 selected for my label size, when I print to my 4XL (using the 1744907 4x6 in paper setting, which works fine in my dymo software) the margins are not correct, and part of the return address is clipped off of the label. If I could just simply add a small margin to the top of the label, or any more "advanced" settings were available I could fix this.
So to be clear, my question is where did that old page go, and can you select the specific type of printer to generate labels for anymore in eBay? I suspect that those settings were replaced with the redesign, which would be unfortunate, as it appears many people are having issues specifically with the Dymo 4XL. If this setting is not available anymore, does anyone know a workaround that isn't "screenclip into dymo software"? I'd love to be able to print straight from ebay.

I would like to second a request on how to print to a 4x6 label. Printing from a PDF of 8.5x11 is fine, but we need more options.

Update your browser and then update Adobe, in that order, if needed.
Set your browser to open PDF files with Adobe, and not its built in reader/viewer.
Open your label printer’s Printer Preferences from the Control Panel and select the correct label size.
On the ebay shipping page, look to the lower left under Shipping Label Format and make sure the Printable Label box is selected and not the QR Code box.
Next at the upper right under Order Details scroll down and click on Show More. Then at the bottom click on “Change” and select PDF and below that the label size you are using.
Create a USPS label as usual and click print. It should open in an Adobe PDF print window.
Change the Target Printer at the top in the pull down menu to the Dymo, if needed.
Adobe print options should be set to Actual Size and Auto Orientation. For 4” x 6” size labels, check the box for “Choose paper source by PDF page size”. For the smaller 99019 labels, make sure this box is unchecked.
Preview of the label should be properly shown in the format outline. Print your label.

I could not find where to change the label size!
Thank you!

@virginiapartsandparcels After you click on Print Shipping Label, look at the right hand column where it says Order Details at the top. Scroll down and click on Show More. There are the bottom you will see the current label format size and the Change option to click on. There also is a preview option to check the label format before you print. See red outlines below.

Are you able to change the preference if you've already printed the intial label? Seems like there should be a default somewhere so you don't have to change it without buying a new label.

You can change it and then not print the label, but probably best just wait till you are ready to ship another item, then change it and it will stay changed for all future labels. Note that there is a preview option to test the change before you print.

I don't want to pay for Adobe...

The Adobe Acrobat Reader is free.
