When item did not arrive: never accept a 'replacement'

Bought a few small items last year from several asian sellers. Just wanted to share my experience.

Most of the items arrived on time (apparently over a month is 'on time' now). But 3 of them never showed up. Since these asian guys are selling volumes of those cheap small items like IC's, electronic components, earphones etc, they tend to **bleep** up quite a bit with shipping and they know it. So in a few cases that I had not received items before or received an alltogether different item, they just issue an immediate refund. Not this time.

All 3 guys kept blaming 'shipping company', all 3 told same story 'we just called and they say there's a delay', all 3 asked to wait one more week (which I agreed in every case)  and all 3 kept offering no other option but shipping a replacement in the end until I gave up in 2 cases. Of course the 'replacement' items did not arrive either. It's been almost 4 months.

Anyway I lost a lot of time over that **bleep** and heard all those lies (one of them even managed to 'admit' he sent an item to a partially invended adderss - with wrong country and state), now I want their blood. But my best bet now - going through paypal and asking for a refund, I can't even give them a bad feedback to warn others who will most likely get tricked just like I got.

PS: I'd love to hear from others too, I'm sure many had similar experience.

Just a quick addition: at the time of writing this I checked all these 3 sellers profiles and already see negative feedback piling up in all 3 for the last couple of months. That's despite their quite high overall ratings. Don't know what to think about it, I wonder if that's a new negative trend or what?
