Incorrect address given to buyer for return.

In the past when a buyer requested a return I could choose a specific return address. I travel south for the winter and send my packages from a different address than the one eBay has on file. Tonight a return was authorized to be sent back to my summer home that is 1200 miles from where I am. This is ridiculous, I should be able to choose where the return ends up.  This is part of the new returns process for buyer remorse. Well it is stupid! I have emailed the buyer and spoken to eBay and they said they would also email the buyer with the correct address. I need it returned to the address from where it was sent. Simple except for eBay, who complicates things in the most unimaginable way. It is not something you can opt out of.  Anyone else run into this yet?

eBay didn’t complicate things. You are supposed to have the correct contact info on file at all times. You probably should be changing your address when you travel for the winter and again when you leave the south.
