I've got three parcels going AWOL in Miami... one was in Miami on June 2, and no updated scans.
What's going on there that's causing packages to disappear in a black hole? Can't be a coincidence it happened to three packages, unless they're magically not scanning anything after it gets to Miami.
I think my Miami packages are all for freight forwarders, and they tend to be pretty patient since it has to go to their country. So maybe no one has noticed... I'm noticing because I'm keeping an eye on packages since one got lost a couple of weeks ago, so I want to see if there's any issues as they happen. My shipper has a screen for everything that's still in transit, so I go and look at tracking for anything that seems to be taking too long to arrive.

"freight forward" is easy to identify...extra International fee by eBay from a credit card used from another country...plus buyer eBay ID will show what country. Probably Doral, Florida? LOL.
I now take a photo of all packages with postage if it is International or freight forward and send it in an email to the buyer...if freight forward I tell buyer about it taking longer to get to their country(and I mention their country). And that's it. I wait until I hear anything from a buyer.
So here's the weird thing for me....I went from mostly domestic buyers to mostly International buyers.
It's like eBay turned me off where I am only getting International buyers because I charge shipping where domestic shipping is free. Item+shipping is a bigger eBay fee.
I get a good sale today...happy until I see the country "Bulgaria". LOL. And buyer paid all 9 items separately.
I never get sales from Bulgaria. Of course, I will assume a problem and that money will not be used until I hear a positive feedback.

There's a few freight forwarders in Florida, I got one for Sarasota recently. I didn't check what country he's in, but he buys all the time, and keeps getting kicked off eBay and coming back later with a new account. I've never had a problem with him so I don't complain.
I think there's freight forwarders in Miami. I usually know from the funny address. Most of the time the freight forwarder users are buying things like coins and tokens and stuff that will ship with tracking anyway. I don't think I've gotten one who bought just a few stamps that I shipped without tracking, but I can see why you photograph your items without tracking to send to the buyer. If I start having issues without tracking I might try that to deter INRs from being filed too soon.
Anyway no complaints yet from the near Miami crowd, but with stuff being there for over a week, I figured something was up. There's always a center or too that people are complaining about.

So the Middle East is a big "freight forward".
I would check buyer ID country.
I had such a great buyer and he returned home to the Middle East and stated he will not be able to make any more purchases.😭
And as you know, don't ask if item received. Don't open a can of worms.
I currently have an item not received in Israel....and working on that.
Israel was banned and then it got unbanned of this war.
Luckily I only have 2 sales so far to Israel. And I photo all my envelopes with stamps now.
Had great buyers in Israel as well as Russia...

I was shipping to Israel, but stopped because of the war. (If Department of Foreign Affairs says people shouldn't go, I figure packages shouldn't go other).
I had a great buyer in Russia that bid up all the auctions every week (won about half of them), they used to be big heavy 8 lb packages going to Russia. But I can't do that anymore.

I currently have two INR cases open and both packages are for Miami area, and the addresses are individuals, not Freight Forwarder businesses.
So epic coincidence, perhaps?

I'm hoping because these are freight forwarders they're not impatient and obsessing over tracking...
It won't happen tonight, but I will get a missing mail one done for the package that hasn't moved since June 2. The other two have only been MIA for a few days, so I'm not too worried yet.
Just when I see all my items that take a long time to arrive getting lost in the same place I start to wonder. I took a big hit on a lost package recently, so I'm checking tracking for "in transit" items in my shipper's portal.

Not sure what was going on on June 2nd but check out the weather for today in the Miami area. This will likely cause some delays.

I have had several in the last few weeks that arrived at the USPS Miami Distribution Center and then no further scans. I've already had to refund a few buyers. And now there's floods in Miami to boot. USPS really needs to get their act together.
File claims with USPS for the lost packages.

You can always check the USPS service alerts to see if there are issues.

You may want to check the eBay seller announcements in seller hub. Of course eBay always makes this sound easy but problem resolution with eBay can often be a complex issue.
