What is going on with the post office??

Since Thanksgiving there are many packages stuck either at Indianapolis or Kansas City. All I've been doing the last few days is filing missing package requests. Anyone else having issues with the post office losing your packages? I've been selling for over 20 years and never experienced anything like this. I realize Christmas is a couple weeks away, but I’ve never seen anything like this.

Same here, this has been my worst year by far for package problems.  I usually never look at tracking, but after one kind buyer reached out to me I started looking and it's not pretty.  Just in the last few days, I'm seeing movement again on several of mine, so I'm cautiously regaining hope. 

One pkg took a month and one I shipped Dec 2nd was delivered today (I filed the look for my pkg form on Saturday with usps).  I written it before, but I honestly think dejoy is finally having success at tearing down the system that he was installed to do.

Indianapolis is a mess.

Had two incoming packages pass through the same day. One has been delivered, the other is wandering.

Whatever the problem is, it is probably a local dispute between management and labor. Choose your side.

So far no problems other than in Indy. But these were not the first there.

The Indy post office is honestly a mess right now. I had a package coming to me spend 5 days there until they forwarded it to my post office just north of Indy. It was torture watching the tracking.

Where to start...

So many of my packages are delayed.  I have 3 that say picked up and nothing more.  They are supposed to arrive today and tracking still says on time with no movement whatsoever.  One took over a week to go from my city to an hour north of me.  One is stuck in Indy, so I'm glad to hear others are seeing issues there.  

I had an item I purchased sit for 4 days in a town less than 30 minutes away, waiting for a ride on a FedEx truck.  What a mess!

+1 for Kansas City. Had one sit there for 5 days. A Thursday thru a Tuesday staycation. It did get delivered (late) before the buyer did any screaming.

It would be interesting as to if there is a difference between using eBay shipping labels vs. not using them as to the lateness. And if going to the post office and using postage at the post office makes a difference instead of eBay shipping labels. Just curious.

I have never used an eBay shipping label.

My items get mailed without any problems.

I have a package that has been sitting in Kansas City since December 6th. Buyer left bad feedback yesterday. I started a "Missing Mail Search Request" yesterday. Package was sent out  December 2nd.

I been having issues getting shipping from NJ to Indiana.  Taking 18 days today and still not been delivered.  Stuck in NJ for 6 days without moving. Then to Indiana for several days then to Chicago for days then now back to Indiana for day 3 now. I complained and sent tracking requests and still no help or explanations. Having another issue with Baton rough Louisiana to Indiana.  6 days and still in Louisiana.  I'm beyond irritated with USPS. Don't want to use them anymore
