Tracking shows the small $20 item I bought here was out for delivery today. Tracking says mailman came around 6 but he didn't leave it in the mailbox with the other mail and it says "No Access" in the tracking. I wasn't home. What does this mean?

Probably means that there wasn't room enough in the mailbox and he didn't want to leave it in the open.

Thing fits in a small padded mailer.

it means call or visit your local post office and ask them

The one time I saw that scan that made sense was when our parking lot was resurfaced, and mailman couldn't get to the mailbox. I suppose carriers might also use it for other situations, like snowpiles, stopped traffic, vicous pitbulls, and maybe even "oops; found this in the back of the truck at the end of my shift".
It will likely be delivered next business day if there are no actual obstructions.

It’s supposed to mean the mailbox was either blocked or full but most likely he found it after he left your house and didn’t feel like going back. It will probably show up Monday.

That seems the most likely.

It could mean any one of a dozen things. I wouldn't even worry about it unless they make a redelivery attempt and encounter the same issue.

Nope, not even today. My concern is the "No Access" implies the cause is on my end and Paypal would rule in the sellers favor if I file a claim. https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction?tRef=fullpage&tLc=2&text28777=&tLabels=9400115901631470...

PayPal will only side with the seller if they have proof of delivery to you. “No access” isn’t proof of delivery.

Decided to take a ride to the post office and after waiting in line 20 minutes, clerk found the package but couldn't explain why it wasn't delivered.
