I shipped a $200 suit on October 17th and the estimated delivery was October 18th. Today I check the for the latest tracking it says: Redelivery Scheduled
NEW YORK, NY
The customer has requested that the Postal Service redeliver this item on October 21, 2019. Am I screwed?

No issue here- just like everything stated: "the customer had no where safe for delivery so the customer requested a different delivery date".… probably when someone could be home. As long as you shipped per the required date and inputted tracking number (or printed ebay label), you are fine.

eBay considers attempted delivery or "re-delivery scheduled" to be the same as delivered. So you are done! as far as eBay is concerned, item is delivered.

No need to worry yet. There can be a lot of reasons it wasn't delivered the first time.
The customer could have a order in place to leave a notice if the item is too large for their mail receptacle rather than leaving it by their door.
There could have been construction or just someone loitering.
Heck it could have been raining buckets and the carrier out of plastic bags.
Heck yesterday I used that scan on a package that I just missed the parcel marker. It was very windy and I had RedPlums (our weekly store ads and a real PITA boxholder) between them being slick and the wind trying to get in and blow them around I missed seeing a parcel marker for a little poly bag. I found the package at the next parcel marker but too far away to turn around and deliver (it will be delivered today without any prompting from the customer). Things like this do happen occasionally.
