What does FedEx On site tracking drop off show.

If I drop off at a FedEx on-site location like walgreens. What does the tracking show as drop off ?

I'm curious incase I need an emergency scan after hours to avoid being late.

Does it say on the tracking that it was dropped off at walgreens or whatever the company.

I never use fedex but I'm sure there must be some of you out there.

Walgreens is supposed to scan it, so there is an acceptance scan that will populate to FedEx within a few minutes. I don't remember if it indicates Walgreens on tracking or just the city/state.

Then later (usually the next day) there will be a pick up scan once FedEx formally takes possession.

If they don't want to scan, show them this page that says they're supposed to:

You can provide an email address to Walgreens if you want email confirmation when Walgreens scans it in. Just make sure they scan in front of you as that's the key element in your scenario.

Yeah, they will give me an acceptance scan and they are 24 hours. So if I'm late (I use same day handling) I can drop off at 11:59 and get that acceptance.

I just wish I knew how tracking looked. If it says walgreens on it.

I used to use a 24 our USPS kiosk, but now they all limited lobby hours in my area. Website still says 24 hour kiosk but lobby that the kiosk is in closes at 7.
